Where I came from

I grew up in Nowra on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. My primary education was at St Michael's School in Nowra and secondary at St Joseph's College in Hunter's Hill, Sydney.

I studied Medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1989, and after a few more years work/study became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 1996. In 2005 the University of Sydney awarded me a PhD for my thesis on Perioperative Sleep and Breathing. If you are really keen you can read the abstract or download my thesis from The Sydney Digital Theses Repository.

I work at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and you can read about my work interests here.
